Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026. This policy covers the Jigshuffle web game ("the Game").

Jigshuffle is a browser-based image guessing game. We aim to collect as little as possible. This page explains what is stored and which third parties are involved.

What we store on your device

The Game saves your personal best times and guess counts in your browser's localStorage so your leaderboard persists between visits. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time via your browser settings.

Leaderboard data we store remotely

When you guess an image correctly, the Game may send the category and your solve time in seconds to our database provider (Supabase) to power the global leaderboard. This record contains no name, email, IP, or any information that identifies you personally.

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more at Google's advertising policy. For visitors in the EEA/UK, a consent prompt governs personalized ads.

Third-party image sources

Images are loaded directly from third-party APIs: The Movie Database (TMDB), PokéAPI, Jikan (MyAnimeList), the Superhero API, and flagcdn. Your browser contacts these services to fetch images; their own privacy policies apply to those requests.

Children

Some categories (e.g. Pokémon, anime) appeal to younger audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The remote leaderboard stores only an anonymous category and time.
